“Can I come in?”
I nodded and sat up further on my bed. “What…what are you doing here?” I asked, finally finding my words.
He walked to the foot of the bed and sat down on the side. Handing me a bag, he said, “I hope you don’t mind your roommate letting me in. It’s your birthday and I wanted to give you your gift.”
“Give me a gift?” I questioned.
“Yeah.” He glanced at his watch. “I was afraid I’d miss it, but I still have fifteen minutes.”
I cocked my head to the side. Did he really think he could go out and pick up some whore and then…I couldn’t even bring myself to think it.
“I had to work tonight. I came over here as soon as I got off.” I’m sure he got off all right.
“You are such a liar.” I scoffed and shook my head. “I don’t know why you are here, but you can go.”
“I understand why you’re mad. And I deserve that, but I’ve never lied to you, Miranda.”

The story, this book is a bout a woman who wants to move
on in her life and fulfill the dream she wants. But when an unexpected
person from her past came back in her life, things will get interesting.
When she met Brad things will get heated up and all.
With the insecurities she had, Miranda will learn things about
herself. But with her secret, will Brad still love her?
J.D. Rivera nailed it! Loved it! There may be times
that I want to punch Brad though..lol..sorry...
