Genre: Suspenseful Romance
Release Date: October 3rd, 2013
Synopsis:
Riley
Miller wants nothing more than to leave her past behind and never speak
of it again. The damage caused by what has happened has made her build
walls keeping people out. Starting over isn't easy. After a move to Cape
Cod to escape the dark and haunting secrets, she meets Abby and Evan.
Instantly becoming best friends, shy and quiet Riley tries to break out
of her shell with the help from her new friends. Just as she begins to
settle into a comfortable routine, Riley meets Evan's friend Dustin.
Life as Riley knows it will never be the same.
Looking
for love is the last thing on Dustin’s to do list, if it’s even on
there at all. Living with some significant secrets of his own, Dustin
tries to keep from getting in too deep with anyone. But, he finds
himself drawn to the timid, yet stunning Riley. Can they both accept the
past and develop a relationship? Or will the skeletons in both of their
closets keep them from ever moving on?
My Review:
A Tattered Love made me go crazy!
The story is great and I love the concept of it.The characters are also strong, I love how they are different from each other and I love how they blended with each other, not overlapping from each other.
Characters:
I loved Riley's character and
personality. She's strong-willed (and that's what I really liked about
her, she has a backbone and not lame). She's interesting and mysterious
that made me drawn to her and made me want to know more about this girl.
Dustin on the other hand, he's a bit cocky but that's what makes him hot! I
love how he's being protective. And I love how he acts when Riley's
around..
Dustin mom and Molly's mom, well, I hate them. I hate how the way they treated Riley. But they brought the story in to the next level (making it more good and exciting).
Story:
I love how the story was written, it's not boring. I love how the dramas were created, interesting (with all Dustin's momma baby and mom). The way the story ended is also good, I love how the things ended with Dustin and Riley. I'm not disappointed on how it went!
Ms. Nickie did a wonderful job in this book. Definitely worth reading!
